"C" getting ready to bat. Gotta love the stance:) Cute little rear end! Go #8!!!

"C" playing catcher. He wasn't so fond of playing that position a few weeks ago but now loves it. He switches from playing catcher to playing third base usaully. Oh, these sports......they can take over your life:) We do love watching him play.

YouTube - jon schmidt coldplay

I saw this on my facebook this morning and just had to share. I have already listened to it multiple times today:) Jon Schmidt is always incredible but the guy on the Cello is Steve Nelson who is my friends little brother. He is amazing. I think it is awesome.....two great songs put together. The story behind the whole thing is cute too. Enjoy!!!

Easter Day

Easter Egg Hunt Phase 1

The two "B" cousins so happy they found eggs and that they can be wild and crazy together!

Cousin "B", "W", and "B" with their bags full of eggs.

The grandkids listening so intently to grandma. I'm sure they just wanted to dart out the front door so they could start finding their eggs:)

Grandma Bruschke explaining the rules for the Easter egg hunt. My cute pregnant sister is on the left. Just wanted to make sure I cleared that up just in case anyone thought it was me looking pregnant:)

Easter Egg Hunt Phase 2

Grandma Morgan with all of her cute grandkids each holding their Easter sacks. We had to do the Easter egg hunt inside because of the weather....go figure:) I think Grandma prepared about 70 eggs to hide. That is a lot of eggs.

The grandkids dying Easter eggs with Grandma Morgan. We were so happy she was able to be here with us to celebrate. She has had many health problems recently and has been either in the hospital or at a care facility for the past 4 1/2 months. She is doing well and is feeling better everyday. It was great to have her back for Easter as she was in the hospital for Thanksgiving and Christmas:( She started this Easter egg dying tradition when the kids were small and they each look forward to it every year.

"B" Mans Birthday

Our little man turned 3 a few weeks ago. He loved every moment of every celebration. It is so fun when they finally get that it is "their" day. He ended up being sick with croup a few days before his birthday so we thought we had better do something low key. So we went and saw Monsters vs. Aliens. Here are a few birthday pictures. We love this kid!! Maybe he will be potty trained by his 4th birthday:)

Lost Dog For a Day

A few days ago "C" realized that our dog Gator was not in the backyard. At first I thought that was not possible. We have had this dog for 7 years and he has never escaped or gone missing. I checked every possible inch of the backyard and "C" was right our Gator......the hubby's hunting buddy was gone. We had been gone pretty much all day and didn't notice he was missing until 3:30, so we weren't sure how long he had been out. Our gate was completely shut and there was no way he could fit under the fence so we were completely stumped as to how he got out and where he was. So we hopped in the car and started driving around trying to find him. Of course nothing. I called the animal shelter and they didn't have him.....yet anyways. We searched for him for hours. Once "R" got home from work he decided to head out one more time before it got dark and if he didn't find him we would call the animal shelter the next day to see if he was turned in. As "R" was driving he happened to see the animal control car driving in one of the neighborhoods he was searching in and waved her down. Well after a few hours of our kids freakin out that we would never see our dog again ("W" even said that she would give us all of her money to help get him home) the "dog catcher" had him. We only had to pay a small $55.00 fee to get him back:) We still have no idea how he was able to get out but at least he's back......I guess:) BTW.....The little dog Griffin in the picture escapes all the time but he always comes back its the big dog that obviously doesn't know his way around our neighborhood:) Also, "B" sneezed right when I was taking the picture.
